About William Van Vechten
About William:

William Van Vechten, CSB, is passionate about helping people learn to move their consciousness from their minds to their bodies in order to feel more power, comfort and pleasure, reduce shame and embarrassment, and enhance their lovemaking.  Using a variety of modalities, he works with individuals, couples, and groups as a Relationship Coach and Somatic Sex Educator.

He has earned a Certificate in Sexological Bodywork from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco.  He is a member of the Association of Certified Sexological Bodyworkers (ACSB) and the Association of Sexual Energy Professionals (ASEP).

William is in his 14th year practicing Tantra, yoga and meditation, and has been initiated as a Tantric Priest.  He is grateful for his teachers: Robert Frey, Cynthia Taylor Lamborne, Francoise Ginsberg, Osho, Lori Grace Star, Charles & Caroline Muir, Richard Bock, Joseph Kramer, and others.  He has been studying massage for 10 years, and has been attuned to Reiki.

To William, Tantra is a spiritual path that encompasses all areas of life.  Through Tantra, he strives personally for balance and authenticity, while offering acceptance, acknowledgement, appreciation, and support to others.

He created the website ConsciousLoving.com in 2002, in order to share his vision of how relationships can be improved.  He has written advice columns and articles, some of which are published here on the Free Stuff page.

In earlier careers, he has been honored to be lighting/sound designer or audio engineer for some of the world's greatest musicians.  He still does sound for an occasional concert.  He has worked professionally in both legitimate and musical theater.  He has taught classes at several universities, including UCLA and San Francisco State.  He holds a bachelor's degree from California Polytechnic University, and a master's degree from UCLA.

William is in a rewarding, beautiful relationship with his beloved Desiree.  He has two wonderful children from an earlier relationship.

Enhance lovemaking and orgasm. Release shame and guilt.

Our skin has a memory separate
from our mind,
of good touch, bad touch and no touch.
People who live lives of quiet desperation
too often settle for no touch
to protect themselves from bad touch
and miss out on good touch.

Sensual Massage and Somatic Sex Education

There is no such thing as a meaningless relationship.  They all have meaning.  Especially the ones you don't understand.
